My Approach

Following the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), I work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and efficient product experience.

  1. Understanding the Users and Market

    • Checking out the competition—what they’re doing right and where they’re falling short.

    • Talking to users and stakeholders to figure out what’s working and what’s frustrating them.

    • Defining LMS goals and setting expectations based on insights.

  2. Sketching & Planning

    • Mapping out user flows to make navigation smooth and intuitive.

    • Brainstorming and prioritizing features—what’s a must-have and what’s nice to have.

    • Using wireframes and prototypes to start shaping the user experience.

  3. Bringing Designs to Life

    • Crafting user-friendly, accessible, and visually appealing interfaces.

    • Testing early designs with real users to validate concepts and make refinements.

    • Ensuring everything feels cohesive and aligns with the brand identity.

  4. Collaborating with Development

    • Provided developers with well-documented design artifacts and interactive prototypes.

    • Aligned with the engineering team on tech stacks, testing environments, and responsiveness.

    • Ensured consistency across UI, functional tests, and device compatibility.

    • Worked within DoR (Definition of Ready) criteria, including Cypress tests and unit tests.

  5. Testing & Refining

    • Running usability tests to identify problem areas.

    • Analyzing user engagement and tweaking designs accordingly.

    • Making adjustments to ensure a frustration-free experience.

  6. Launching & Continuous Improvement

    • Monitoring how users interact with the platform post-launch.

    • Gathering feedback and implementing changes to enhance satisfaction.

    • Keeping the LMS innovative and evolving with user needs.

A bunch of features were created to solve every challenge and to better the experience of all agile professionals in Crest Agile and below are the features;

1. Landing Page Redesign

Why?
The old landing page lacked clarity and engagement, leading to high drop off rates and low conversions.

Solution
A user-focused redesign with a clean layout, compelling visuals, strategic CTAs, and improved navigation for better accessibility.

Result
Expected 30% drop in bounce rates and increased sign-ups as users find information faster.

2. Dashboard Design

Why?
Users found it difficult to navigate and access key insights, leading to inefficiencies in decision-making.

Solution
A structured, user-friendly dashboard with intuitive navigation, real-time data, and customizable widgets for a better experience.

Result
Users now engage with the dashboard more effectively, making data-driven decisions with ease

3. Learning Journey

Why?
Learners often felt lost in their courses without a clear sense of progress, causing disengagement.

Solution
A structured roadmap breaking courses into milestones with progress tracking and personalized guidance that we named Learning Journey.

Result
Learners feel more motivated and focused, leading to better course completion and engagement.

4. Achievement and Certification

Why?
Users lacked a way to showcase their skills and track achievements, making it harder to demonstrate expertise.

Solution
An automated certification system with digital badges that users can share on professional platforms.

Result
Learners are more motivated to complete courses, and employers can easily recognize their accomplishments.

5. Learning Notes (MVP is Live)

Why?
Users struggled to retain key insights, often relying on external tools that disrupted their learning flow.

Solution
An in-platform note-taking system with organization, tagging, and search functionality.

Result
Learners can now easily capture and revisit key takeaways, improving knowledge retention and application.

6. Video Library (MVP is Live)

Why?
Users found it difficult to locate and revisit important video lessons, slowing down their learning.

Solution
A centralized library that organizes all course videos in one place, allowing users to search, filter, and bookmark content. Features like playback controls and auto-resume ensure a smooth and uninterrupted learning experience.

Result
Users now engage with learning videos more effectively, reinforcing knowledge and improving course completion.

7. Leaderboard (MVP is Live)

Why?
Users often struggle with staying motivated and consistent throughout their learning journey, leading to incomplete courses.

Solution
A gamified leaderboard that ranks users based on progress, quiz scores, and participation. It encourages friendly competition through rewards, badges, and milestone celebrations, keeping learners engaged.

Result
Learners now feel more motivated to stay active and complete their courses, creating a more interactive and engaging learning experience.

8. CV Refinement with AI

Why?
Users struggle to create resumes that align with industry standards and ATS requirements, often leading to missed job opportunities.

Solution
An AI-driven CV refinement tool that analyzes job descriptions, suggests impactful phrasing, optimizes keyword usage, and enhances formatting for ATS compatibility. Real-time feedback helps users create stronger, job-ready resumes.

Result (In Development Phase)
This feature is expected to improve users’ chances of landing interviews by making their resumes more effective while positioning Crestlearn as a valuable career advancement tool.

9. Admin Dashboard Designs

Why?
Managing courses, users, and analytics relied on rigid third-party tools, making platform administration complex and requiring technical expertise. This limited flexibility and usability for non-technical users.

Solution
A centralized, user-friendly Admin Dashboard with real-time analytics, role-based access control, and streamlined workflows. It simplifies user management, tracks key metrics, and enables effortless platform configuration.

Result (In Development Phase)
The dashboard has improved operational efficiency by reducing developers’ workload and enabling stakeholders to make data-driven decisions with ease, leading to better course management and user engagement.

10. Chat Feature for User

Why?
Relying on third-party apps for communication led to disruptions during downtimes, making it hard for learners to ask questions, collaborate, or receive timely support. This negatively impacted engagement and learning continuity.

Solution
A built-in chat feature with real-time messaging, group chats, direct messaging, and status indicators. It seamlessly integrates with course discussions, keeping conversations relevant and accessible within the platform.

Result (In Development Phase)
This feature is expected to improve collaboration, create a stronger learning community, and enhance engagement by ensuring learners can communicate instantly without external dependencies.

11. Brochure Design for Investors

Why?
To attract investors, Crestlearn needed a compelling and professional presentation of its value proposition, market potential, and growth trajectory. Without clear and engaging materials, communicating key insights and securing funding could be challenging.

Solution
A well-structured investor brochure highlighting market impact, revenue growth, user engagement, and future opportunities. It combined data visualization, success stories, and financial projections in a visually engaging and professionally branded layout.

Result
The brochure played a key role in securing funding discussions in the UK, US, and Nigeria. It improved investor confidence and positioned Crestlearn as a scalable, high-potential SaaS product, making pitch presentations more effective.
